SUSTAINABILITY
& CULTURE
In Mato Grosso, visitors get the chance to experience the indigenous culture from inside the communities. Inside the villages the indigenous people showcase their habits and traditions, through body painting, hunting, fishing, sacred rituals, archery, and other activities, allowing their culture and sustainable practices to be preserved.

PURE
LUXURY
Cristalino Lodge is an unique destination, built sustainably in harmony with the forest and the wilderness where it was created the first Natural Heritage Private Reserve - Reserva Privada do Patrimônio Natural (RPPN) in northern Mato Grosso. Occupying an area of 604 hectares, it ensures the correct management for the sustainable and everlasting protection. Chosen one of the 25th best lodges in the world by National Geographic Traveller, Cristalino has also won several travel and accommodation awards, and the hotel is always committed to offering guests a wonderful, authentic and unique experience.

CABEÇABOL
Cabeçabol, created by the indigenous Haliti-Paresi people, is a unique sport where the ball is struck with the head instead of being kicked, as in football. Known as Jikyonahati in the indigenous language, the game is played on a sand or earth field to allow proper ball movement. The objective is to score when the opposing team fails to return the ball to the attacking team's side. The ball cannot be touched by feet, shoulders, hands, or any part of the body, although it can briefly touch the ground before being returned, as long as it is pushed with the head by the opposing team.

JAGUAR
SPOTTING
Considered the largest wild cat in the Americas, the Brazilian Jaguar is one of the symbols of the Pantanal. They can be spotted in Cáceres and mainly in Porto Jofre, located at the end of the Transpantaneira Highway, in Poconé municipality. Spotting is available in any season, especially from May to October, when the dry season occurs, and jaguars normally go out reaching for water and food.
