FOLK FESTIVAL
The Parintins Folklore Festival is a vibrant cultural celebration held annually in the municipality of Parintins, located in the Amazonas state. Spanning three days, the festival features an open-air competition between two folkloric groups: Boi Garantido (red) and Boi Caprichoso (blue). The Parintins oxen have gained international recognition as one of Brazil's premier cultural festivals. The festival showcases regional symbols representing indigenous peoples and the riverside communities of Northern Brazil.
