PARINTINS
FOLK FESTIVAL 

The Parintins Folklore Festival is a vibrant cultural celebration held annually in the municipality of Parintins, located in the Amazonas state. Spanning three days, the festival features an open-air competition between two folkloric groups: Boi Garantido (red) and Boi Caprichoso (blue). The Parintins oxen have gained international recognition as one of Brazil's premier cultural festivals. The festival showcases regional symbols representing indigenous peoples and the riverside communities of Northern Brazil.

Less Carbon Emission
The state of Amazonas has policies that allow access to funds through emission reduction results via REDD+. This permission highlights the state's commitment to fighting deforestation and gas emissions, paving the way for the commercialization of carbon credits resulting from these actions.

Manaus Free Trade Zone
Industrial production in the state of Amazonas, supported by this incentive, enables job and income generation in the state without excessive deforestation. This is supported by the fact that the state of Amazonas maintains over 90% of its forest preserved.


Brilha Amazonas Project
This project initially distributed 253 solar panel kits to communities that rely on tourism as a source of income, generating clean energy and improving the quality of life for these populations.
