THE BEST OF PORTO ALEGRE
Unforgettable
Experiences

GASTRONOMY
The cuisine in Porto Alegre is based on immigration influences, which makes it multiple. It also offers unique experiences when it comes to flavors, whether you taste the most simple dishes, such as “xis gaúcho” sandwich, pizzas and appetizers, or more elaborated cuisine, with carefully prepared recipes signed by chefs in classic, modern and trendy restaurants. Offering more than 100 “churrascarias” (barbecue restaurants), Porto Alegre is the World Capital of Churrasco and the Brazilian Capital of Microbreweries. At Polo Cervejeiro on the Quarto Distrito, more than 400 exclusively owned formulas are produced, and 35 microbreweries are open for visitation.

URBAN WINERIES
Near the central area of Porto Alegre, visitors will find traditional bodegas that cultivate vineyards and produce wines as fine and tasty as the most prestigious wineries in Brazil and the world - but in the heart of the city, instead of the countryside. In Porto Alegre, you can visit five of these urban wineries.

CAMINHOS RURAIS
The tourist route of Caminhos Rurais de Porto Alegre allows visitors to experience a new world within the city. It includes 17 private property tours, which have welcomed visitors for more than 20 years, and six public attractions located in the region. It’s an experience that offers many distinct possibilities. At Caminhos Rurais, you’ll get to experience community agriculture, the tradition of equestrian practices, the historical and cultural stories, the religious spaces and an immersion into the pristine nature between the Mata Atlântica and the Pampa biomes.

SAIL ALONG
On board a sailboat in the Guaíba River, the Jundiá offers a delicious experience with harmonized pairings of wines and sparkling wines from the local vineyards. There are six boats, available for exclusive tours for small groups, upon reservation, with tasting menu and a sommelier aboard.

CONNECTIONS
Direct Flights
Porto Alegre is an increasingly accessible destination, thanks to its excellent air connectivity. The city offers direct flights to and from major capitals in Brazil, making it easy to reach from any part of the country. Additionally, Porto Alegre has strong international connections, with direct flights to key Latin American capitals and Portugal.
This combination of domestic and international flight options ensures that traveling to Porto Alegre is convenient and efficient, whether for business or leisure. With its strategic location and excellent connectivity, Porto Alegre is a prime destination for both local and international travelers.
